Welcome! I'm Glenn, and this is Twice As Nice Threads - our little family-run shop based here in Worthing, West Sussex.
If I'm honest, this all started because of two people.
First, my wife Cara, who has been nagging me for years to turn my obsession with finding a bargain into an actual shop. And second, our 5-year-old daughter Samantha, who absolutely loves shopping and fashion more than anyone I know in the world. She is officially our Chief Style Officer, Head of Sequins, and Chief Tryer-On of Everything - and she takes the job very, very seriously.
We started Twice As Nice Threads just over a month ago with a simple idea: give great clothes a second life.
What began as me hunting for quality-checked pre-loved and vintage pieces has grown into something much bigger thanks to all of you who have supported us.
We now do two things, and we do them properly:
These are one-off, one-of-a-kind finds. The actual item in the actual photo. I check every piece, wash it, iron it and make sure it's something I'd be happy to put Cara and Samantha in. Once it's gone, it's gone. These ship within 48 hours from our home in Worthing.
These are brand new with tags from premium and designer brands - think Game tweed jackets, heavy cotton duck canvas workwear, sequin occasion dresses, plus quality hats, bags, jewellery, watches and wallets. These are the pieces you keep for years. They're ordered in for you, so delivery is 7-10 days.

Because you're not talking to a warehouse. You're talking to me. If you need a measurement, aren't sure on sizing, or want to know if that jacket is really as warm as it looks - just message us. I answer every message myself, usually with Cara rolling her eyes and Samantha giving her very honest fashion opinion in the background.
We're not a big high street chain. We're a family in Worthing trying to build something honest - affordable fashion that doesn't cost the earth, and premium pieces that are worth the investment.
